The Vision Quest

AN ANCIENT RITE OF PASSAGE FOR MODERN TIMES

Vision Quest — At a Glance

At its core, a Vision Quest is time away in nature to step back, reset, and reconnect with what actually matters.

  • 5–6 days close to the land, away from everyday demands

  • 3 days solo - no phone, no distractions, just space to really be and truly listen

  • Carefully prepared and well supported before, during, and after

  • For people at a crossroads - or simply wanting clarity, perspective, or deeper alignment

  • A chance to return clearer, steadier, and aligned with what matters most

If this resonates, keep reading - or reach out anytime.

THE CALL

There comes a moment when the noise of the world grows too loud to hear yourself.
When achievement stops feeling like fulfillment, and the path forward no longer fits who you’ve become.

A Vision Quest is a ceremony of stillness and courage — a return to the wild and to what’s true within you.

Over five or six days we live close to the land.
Three of those days are spent alone — no phone, no food, no distractions. Just you, the elements, and what’s ready to be seen.

Before and after solo time, we gather in circle to prepare, set intention, and integrate what emerges.

This isn’t a retreat.
It’s a rite of passage.
A threshold between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming.

Will you answer the call?

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR

A Vision Quest isn’t for everyone — and that’s intentional.

It’s probably not for you if you’re looking for a quick fix, a luxury retreat, or someone to give you answers. This work asks for presence, honesty, and a willingness to meet yourself without distraction.

If stepping away from your phone, responsibilities, or daily comforts feels impossible right now, it may simply not be the right time — and that’s okay.

And if you’re coming purely out of curiosity without a real question or desire for alignment, the experience may feel heavier than expected.

If something here still resonates, even quietly, you’re always welcome to reach out and talk it through.

WHO IT'S FOR

A Vision Quest tends to call people standing at a turning point — founders, leaders, seekers, or anyone sensing life is asking something more of them.

It’s for those navigating transition — between chapters, identities, or ways of being.
For those who’ve achieved a lot yet still feel something essential is missing.
For those ready to step back, strip away the noise, and listen for what’s next.

You don’t need outdoor experience — just a willingness to meet yourself honestly and the courage to follow what you find.

You don’t need to be ultra-fit, ultra-spiritual, or have everything figured out.

If that sounds like you, here’s what people often experience.

WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE

Across the Quest — in the circle, solo time, and the return — many people experience:

• Stillness to hear what life has been trying to show you
• Clarity about what matters and what may need to shift
• A nervous system reset through time in silence, wildness, and spaciousness
• Real connection with thoughtful, grounded peers
• Insight that arises from your own inner knowing
• Relief from constant pressure, roles, and expectations
• A renewed relationship with nature — and with yourself
• A clearer sense of direction that feels steady rather than forced
• Integration support so what emerges actually carries forward

At its core, this is often a reset at the level of identity, purpose, and direction — a recalibration of how you live, lead, and move through the world.

THE RHYTHM

Every Quest moves through an ancient rhythm: Severance. Threshold. Incorporation.

Severance is the release — stepping away from roles, routines, and distractions so something deeper can surface.

Threshold is the crossing — three days alone on the land, where the wilderness becomes a mirror and new clarity can emerge.

Incorporation is the return — integrating what you’ve seen so it shapes how you live, lead, love, and serve. The Quest isn’t just for you; it touches everyone in your life.

And within this ancient rhythm, something else comes alive… the Circle.

THE CIRCLE

Though each person quests alone, no one does this alone.

The Quest draws thoughtful, committed people — leaders, founders, creators, seekers — and the connections formed here are often deep and lasting.

The circle begins before we arrive through preparation calls, intention-setting, and trust-building. By the time we step onto the land, a sense of community is already present.

When we return from solo time, we gather again to share, witness, and anchor what emerged. This is often where insight takes root — in being truly seen.

The Quest begins and ends in community.
The circle holds it all, often long after we leave the land.

Within this circle, a strong container forms…

The Container

Each Quest unfolds within a clear, intentional container — balancing safety and freedom so you can fully let go into the experience.

Preparation begins well before we gather, building trust, alignment, and readiness.

Every detail is considered — from daily rhythm and safety protocols to communication systems and how we engage with the land. I work with trusted assistants and experienced guides so each person feels supported throughout.

When the structure is solid, you can relax, open, and meet both the land and yourself more honestly.

And because the work goes deep, safety and support are essential…

SAFETY & SUPPORT

Your well-being is held with great care.

During solo time you’re in a defined area with clear boundaries, regular check-ins, and experienced guides nearby. Weather, conditions, and communication are actively monitored so you can focus fully on the inner journey.

You’re never unsupported. The structure stays quietly present while you do the work.

Once safety and trust are anchored, preparation begins…

PREPARATION

Preparation is where the Quest truly begins.

In the weeks beforehand, we meet in group and one-on-one calls to clarify intention, understand the season you’re in, and begin shifting out of ordinary life.

We also cover practical details — gear, logistics, safety, and rhythm — so you arrive grounded, supported, and ready.

By the time we step onto the land, the group already feels connected.

Preparation opens the door.

And once prepared, the land itself becomes your teacher…

WHERE WE QUEST

Each season, we gather in wild places that still hold silence — where the land itself becomes part of the ceremony.

The red rock canyons of Escalante, the high peaks of Colorado, the desert expanses of Baja — each landscape carries its own medicine.
The canyon teaches stillness and surrender.
The mountain calls forth strength and vision.
The desert reveals simplicity, truth, and space.

These are places that strip away pretense.
They remind us who we are beneath all the noise.

While these regions have become home for much of my work, we also travel to guide Quests in other sacred landscapes around the world — wherever the land calls and the intention is clear.

From here, the question becomes: is this for you?

UPCOMING QUESTS

Each Quest is shaped by the season, the circle that gathers, and the moment of life you’re in.

You don’t need to choose a location or date right now.
We’ll help you find the Quest that best aligns with your timing and the chapter you’re stepping into.

We guide Quests across several wild landscapes each year — mountains, canyons, deserts, and ancient places around the world. Each one carries its own power, but the transformation comes from the ceremony, the silence, and the circle.

All you need to know now is that there’s a place for you, and we’ll help you find it

The Essence

You don’t need all the details right now. Just a sense that this might be your moment to step forward.

From there, we’ll help you find your place, your circle, and the Quest that fits this chapter of your life.

THE COMMITMENT

A Vision Quest is not a casual experience — it’s a commitment to truth, simplicity, and the unknown.

Each Quest unfolds over six days:
one day of arrival and preparation,
three days and nights alone on the land,
and a day and a half of reflection and integration before return.

Yet the journey extends far beyond those six days. Each Quest is a multi-month guided experience that includes 4-5 hours of personal coaching and group sessions before and after — to prepare, set intention, and integrate what’s revealed.

Pricing includes all food, lodging, group work, and preparation and integration coaching — along with a level of guidance, support, and intention that ensures the Quest is held with depth and professionalism.
Investment: $5,000 USD (tiered pricing and scholarships available - reach out if cost is a consideration).

You’re not joining an event. You’re entering a ceremony — one that begins the moment you decide to answer the call.

Whenever it feels right, we can talk about next steps.

THE INVITATION

If something in you feels ready, trust that.

The Quest begins long before you arrive.
It begins the moment you decide to listen.

“The most courageous thing we can do is slow down, listen deeply, and say yes to what’s true.”

- Ret Taylor
